Hey, I have a great idea, let’s fly to Dubai<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Book the ticket – nice a good price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan and plan and plan!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get permission for vacation days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of that let’s fly from Dubai to the USA! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all, this life is full of adventure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It’s the morning of the flight, I wake up to see: CANCELED. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breathe.
Breathe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about the plans?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The money…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vermont…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ticket to the USA…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This cannot be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This is not Fly Dubai. This is not what I planned. This is not the glamorous trip I expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

But then something kicks in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A familiar voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A friend I’ve come to know well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The voice says: “It will be OK”<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You are bigger than Dubai, America and plans. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end of the day it will be OK<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

God loves you in Israel too.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In a matter of moments I am back to myself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fly Dubai isn’t everything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What about fly Vienna, or fly Cyprus or fly Mykonos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I look it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Too expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bad weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight’s too long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Again the voice comes: “You will be OK”. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I counter back:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I need this vacation, I have worked so hard, I deserve this!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The voice lovingly chides: “You will be OK”. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decide I’ll just cancel all the tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fly to the USA from Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will not fly Dubai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I look up a small vacation in Israel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My Dubai buddy will just go to work instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it will be OK, I say. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Then suddenly – ingenuity!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s fly during the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s switch to the earlier flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can still Fly Dubai!!! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My friend gets permission from her boss to leave work and be on a flight in a few hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will have to run to the airport but we can do it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I change her flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I try to change mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It doesn’t work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We call the airline but she got the last ticket and <\/em>her ticket is nonrefundable and<\/em> she needs the money and<\/em> she won’t go alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Business Class is available for $2,000. Ha!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It will be OK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be OK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

God gives me wisdom – even though tickets to Dubai have skyrocketed because of cancellations, I remember the one cheaper ticket I had seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now it’s fly Bahrain and then<\/em> to Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bit of money on a longer connection flight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Now I’m on a train in Israel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t know what will be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

But it will be OK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It always is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It always is what God meant for it to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Because after all it was never that important to Fly Dubai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
